Martin Friedl Martin Friedl was born in 1970 in Marbach, a small town in Germany. From 1990 to 1996 he studied at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart. After co-founding a small (and not so successful) advertising company, he worked for a newspaper publisher for a few years to recover financially. Not discouraged easily, in 2000 Friedl co-founded his current venture, belugadesign, a company focused on corporate design, book design, brochures and posters.
